DOGE Stuck Near $0.095 Below $0.10 as DogeOS Testnet Opens, Two Outlets Report
Two outlets put Dogecoin between $0.0945 and $0.095 as the DogeOS developer testnet goes live, with $0.098 and $0.10 still capping the memecoin's price.

Dogecoin (DOGE) is trading just under $0.095, and the opening of the DogeOS developer testnet has not moved it toward $0.10. Two independent outlets, AMBCrypto and Cryptonews, report the same two facts: the testnet is live, and DOGE remains below the $0.10 level.
Source check: Price below $0.10 and DogeOS testnet live are confirmed by two independent outlets. The September 30 launch date, the faucet-based test tokens and the testnet’s separation from Dogecoin’s main chain come from AMBCrypto only. The $0.098 resistance level comes from Cryptonews only.
Two Snapshots, One Price Range
Cryptonews put DOGE at $0.09447. AMBCrypto described the coin as trading near $0.095, up less than 1% at the time of writing. The gap between the two figures is about half a cent, which is consistent with prices captured at slightly different moments rather than a real disagreement.
Neither figure is wrong. Each one is the last known value at the time it was published, and a quoted DOGE price is only as current as its timestamp. AMBCrypto’s piece carries an update time of 17:30 EDT on October 1, 2026.
Both outlets frame $0.10 as the level that matters. Cryptonews also identifies $0.098 as nearer resistance traders are watching. Cryptonews titled its piece as a question about whether DOGE can reach $1. That is speculation, and no data in either report supports treating it as a forecast.
What DogeOS Actually Launched
According to AMBCrypto, DogeOS opened its public testnet to developers on September 30. Builders can use it to experiment with applications built around DOGE, including payments, trading, lending and games. The project said several teams are already developing products on it.
Fees on the test network are paid in test DOGE. That token has no market value, and developers obtain it from a faucet. Activity on the testnet therefore creates no buying pressure on real DOGE.
AMBCrypto also notes a structural point that is easy to miss. DogeOS is an application layer built around Dogecoin. It is not an upgrade to Dogecoin’s main blockchain. A testnet milestone for DogeOS says nothing about changes to the base chain’s code or consensus.
Reading the Flat Price Response
For holders, the market’s muted reaction matches what the launch is. A developer testnet running on valueless tokens is an early-stage event. Any shift in demand for DOGE would depend on applications reaching a mainnet and drawing real usage, and neither report gives a date for that.
The price data points the same way. A move of less than 1% on launch day suggests traders treated the news as a long-term utility story rather than a reason to reprice the coin today. Builders get a sandbox for DOGE-based payments and lending. Traders get no new on-chain demand yet.
AMBCrypto’s page also displayed a market-wide snapshot at publication: total crypto market capitalisation of $2.896T and Bitcoin dominance of 58.62%. That backdrop comes from a single outlet’s ticker, so treat it as context rather than a verified reading.
The Levels on the Chart
Here is the verified picture. DOGE sits between $0.09447 and roughly $0.095, both outlets place it below $0.10, and the DogeOS testnet has been open to developers since September 30. Cryptonews names $0.098 as the first resistance level, with $0.10 above it as the threshold both outlets say DOGE has yet to reclaim.
