Robinhood Chain’s $2.66M Daily Revenue Tops Ethereum, Confirmed by Two Trackers
Two independent outlets confirm Robinhood Chain's $2.66M 24-hour app revenue beat Ethereum mainnet; transaction and token figures remain single-sourced.

Robinhood Chain, the brokerage-linked network that went live roughly two months ago, generated $2.66 million in app revenue over the 24 hours ending August 30, 2026, a figure that put it above Ethereum mainnet for that specific window. Two independent outlets, NewsBTC and CoinDesk, both report the $2.66 million figure and both confirm it exceeded Ethereum’s daily revenue over the same measurement period.
That two-source agreement is the solid core of this story. Everything beyond it, including exactly how the revenue was generated and whether Robinhood Chain also beat other networks that day, currently rests on a single outlet each.
What Two Trackers Actually Confirm
NewsBTC attributed its number to “validated DeFiLlama-style dashboard data” and reported that Robinhood Chain outperformed both Ethereum mainnet and Hyperliquid in the same 24-hour window. CoinDesk’s headline and summary independently arrived at the same $2.66 million revenue figure and the same Ethereum comparison, describing Robinhood Chain as a “two-month-old network.”
The Hyperliquid comparison appears only in NewsBTC’s reporting. It is not wrong to note it, but it has not been corroborated elsewhere, so it should be read as a single-source claim rather than a confirmed fact.
The Single-Source Numbers Behind the Spike
CoinDesk supplied the granular activity data that explains where the revenue came from. According to its reporting, Robinhood Chain processed a record 5.52 million transactions on August 30, users launched 22,600 tokens that day, and memecoin trading tools accounted for most of the $2.66 million in revenue.
Those figures, the transaction count, the token-launch count and the memecoin-driven revenue breakdown, appear in one source only. They fit the broader pattern and are plausible given the revenue total, but Cryptaur has not seen a second outlet independently verify the 5.52 million transaction figure or the 22,600 token-launch count.
Why a One-Day Revenue Snapshot Isn’t a Trend
App revenue dashboards measure fees paid by users over a rolling 24-hour window, which makes them useful for spotting where activity is concentrated on a given day. It also makes them volatile for smaller or newer chains, where a burst of token launches can move the total sharply in either direction.
NewsBTC’s own framing made this point directly: the metric does not mean Robinhood Chain has displaced Ethereum, and it does not mean Ethereum’s ecosystem is weakening. It means that on August 30, over one specific 24-hour window, one revenue metric favored a much smaller and much younger chain.
Ethereum mainnet still carries a far larger base of total value locked and long-running application revenue than a two-month-old chain built around brokerage infrastructure and memecoin tooling. A single day where a smaller chain’s fee total edges past a giant’s daily number says more about that day’s token-launch activity than about any shift in where crypto’s core economic activity sits.
What is confirmed, by two independent outlets, is the $2.66 million figure itself and the fact that it topped Ethereum’s daily revenue on August 30, 2026. What still needs a second source is everything underneath that number: the transaction count, the token-launch tally, and the claim that Hyperliquid was beaten too.
