Venice’s $391K VVV Burn Lines Up With $25.49 High, Single Source So Far
Venice burned about $391,000 in VVV on Sept. 8 as the token hit an all-time high near $25.49, but only one outlet has reported the figures so far.

Venice’s VVV token touched a fresh all-time high near $25.49 on September 8, after the project executed what it called its largest discretionary burn to date, roughly $391,000 worth of tokens at the time of execution. The move to a new peak, and a subsequent pullback to about $22.77, is documented in one report so far, from AmbCrypto. No second independent outlet has yet confirmed the exact burn size or the intraday price levels.
What the numbers show
According to AmbCrypto’s report, VVV opened the trading week around $18.42 and climbed as high as $25.67 intraday on September 8 before settling near $25.49, a gain the outlet put at nearly 24% on the day. By the time of writing, the token had eased back to roughly $22.77, still well above where the week began.
The rally coincided with Venice’s announcement of a discretionary token burn valued at about $391,000 at execution. The project did not disclose the exact number of VVV tokens destroyed, only the dollar value at the moment of the burn.
A discretionary burn, not a scheduled one
Venice chose both the size and timing of the burn itself rather than following a fixed schedule or a preset amount. That distinguishes it from mechanical burn models used by some other tokens, where a set percentage of fees or supply is removed on a routine basis.
Burning tokens permanently removes supply from circulation, but it does not mechanically guarantee a higher price. The effect on price depends on how much is burned relative to circulating supply, and whether buyers keep entering the market afterward. AmbCrypto’s own reporting flagged this directly, noting the pullback from the intraday high as a sign of short-term profit-taking.
One source, one confirmed event
As of this writing, AmbCrypto is the only outlet with detailed figures on the VVV burn and the September 8 price action. That does not make the underlying event false. It means the specific numbers, the $391,000 burn value, the $25.49 to $25.67 high range, and the $18.42 weekly open, currently rest on a single reporting chain rather than two independent confirmations.
Readers pulling VVV price history from an API or aggregator should check whether their feed reflects a live quote or a rate-limited last known value from before the burn was announced. A price that looks frozen at $18-something hours after the reported move is more likely a stale cache than a market that stopped trading.
VVV last traded near $22.77 following the pullback from its $25.49 all-time high, still up sharply from its $18.42 level at the start of the week of September 8, 2026.
